According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), if the Biden plan were adopted, 17 million employees would see their income rise to $ 15 an hour by 2025
The problem is in many ways less dramatic than Joe Biden proclaims: of some 80 million Americans paid by the hour, less than two million earn the federal minimum wage.
Most large private employers like Amazon and Target have been paying for a long time
