The Iraqi Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, discussed with the Syrian ambassador in Baghdad Satam Jadaan Al-Dandah today, the strengthening of bilateral relations between Syria and Iraq.
The two sides also discussed the affairs of the Syrian and Iraqi communities, and the possibility of the return of those who wish from the Iraqi community in Syria to their homeland.
Al-Dandah said in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Baghdad that the meeting dealt with the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States on the Syrian people through the so-called Caesar Act, which targets the Syrian people and tries to isolate Syria from its regional and global surroundings.
Al-Dandah indicated that Minister Jabro will visit Syria soon to discuss the issue of the Iraqi community in Syria returning to their homeland.
