Rivlin, who wants to prevent a fifth election and expedite the process of imposing the task of assembling the government as much as possible, this time deviated from his custom and will hold the entire round of consultations in one day.
President Rivlin is well aware of the ongoing political entanglement and the line that will guide him is to try to simplify the situation, and clearly understand from all the faction representatives who will come to his residence who they support, to get an unequivocal picture that will lead him to make a decision accordingly.
One by one, the representatives of the factions, according to their size, will arrive at the President's residence, with each delegation of representatives receiving 45 minutes, which will be allocated for an open conversation with the president.
He will listen to the representatives attentively and ask them to give them the name of the Knesset member they recommend for the formation of the government.
The first to stand at the President's House will be representatives of the Likud faction, which won the highest number of seats out of all the parties, by a considerable margin.
They will be followed by Yesh Atid, who will be represented by Shas, Blue and White, right, Torah Judaism and Labor representatives. After a two-hour lunch break, the president's consultation process with the people of Yisrael Beiteinu, religious Zionism, the joint list, Tikva Hadash and Meretz will continue.
