REPORT - The arrival of three new heads at the helm of very prominent tables in Monte-Carlo is blowing a wind of novelty in the Principality.

If the Monegasque culinary scene still suffers from a slightly aging image, oscillating between a club sandwich at 43 € (true) and a starred menu in eight stages, things are changing, thanks to the will of the Monte- Carlo-Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) to renew its stable, with no less than three arrivals in the space of a few months.

Starting with that of Yannick Alléno at the Hermitage, a venerable 5-star hotel in Monaco.

"Putting your pots down in Monaco means stepping onto the podium"

, comments the multi-starred chef, who, at the end of May 2021, took over the reins of the old Vistamar, a large vessel bathed in light and extended by a huge terrace - undoubtedly one of the most beautiful on the Côte d'Azur - to which will soon be added a large glass roof by Chahan Minassian, a counter and a private lounge.

All under the blessing of Alain Ducasse, who officiates a few meters at the Louis XV, the restaurant of the Hôtel de Paris.
