“Why should an electric vehicle that does not cause CO2 emissions be allowed to drive faster than 130?
That is illogical, ”argued Laschet.
In doing so, the Union positioned itself against a widespread demand. Above all, the German environmental aid is pushing for a quick implementation, because Tempo 130 on motorways like in France or Switzerland can allegedly save tons of CO-2 emissions.
