Today, an earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale struck southeast of Atto Station in the US state of Alaska.
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake struck at a depth of 29.8 km and was centered at 51.6319 degrees north latitude and 175.7874 degrees east longitude.
There were no reports of injuries or material damage as a result of the tremor.
