The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 101 new infections and 4 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 285,358, and the total number of deaths has reached 16,619.
Mujahid indicated that 233 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 234,114 people to date.
