The headquarters for combating the spread of the Corona virus in Russia announced that 20,914 new cases of the virus had been recorded during the past 24 hours across the country, bringing the total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic to 6633473 cases.
The headquarters added in its daily report that 799 deaths due to the virus were recorded yesterday, bringing the total deaths to 172,909 since the start of the pandemic, and 20,713 people recovered, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 5,939473 people.
The headquarters indicated that the largest number of injuries was recorded in Saint Petersburg with 1636 cases, while Moscow recorded 1590 injuries and the Moscow Suburbs Province
1240 cases.
