The health authorities in Russia announced that 20,958 new cases of the new Corona virus had been recorded during the last 24 hours, including 2006 cases in the capital, Moscow.
The operations room for combating the outbreak of the epidemic stated in its report today that 805 new deaths were also recorded and 18,407 people recovered during the past hours.
The Chamber stated that the total number of injuries in the country reached 6,642,559, of whom 172,110 died, while 5,918,324 people recovered.
Russia recorded a remarkable increase in the number of deaths during the past days, as last Saturday it recorded 819 deaths from the emerging coronavirus, in the highest daily toll ever in the country since the virus began to spread.
