Assault and robbery occurred in Yau Ma Tei.
At about 1 am today (6th), a 26-year-old man of Nepalese descent was reportedly attacked by a fellow villager on Wusong Street near Nanjing Street. The victim was injured in his face and hands. He was also robbed of a piece worth about 2,600. A gold necklace of yuan and a gold ring worth about 1,500 yuan, the opponent fled without a trace when he succeeded.
The ambulancemen rushed to send the victim to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment; the police temporarily classified the case as a "robbery". The Criminal Department of the Yau Tsim Police District is looking for a non-Chinese man with a height of about 1.7 meters and a fat body involved in the case.
