Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians participated today in a solidarity stand in the city of Tubas in the West Bank in support of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.
According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the vigil called by the national action factions raised Palestinian flags and banners calling on the international community to stand up to its responsibilities and intervene to save the lives of sick prisoners and hunger strikers who are waging a battle of empty intestines in the occupation’s prisons, in rejection of its brutal practices against them and to release them and the rest of the prisoners.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
