Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced the arrival of the first ship loaded with Iranian fuel to Baniyas port yesterday, explaining that it will be transported by tankers next Thursday to Lebanon.
Sayyed Nasrallah said in a speech broadcast by Al-Manar TV that “the first ship arrived at Baniyas port yesterday and began unloading the cargo, and it may finish unloading today, provided that the transfer of this material to the Bekaa begins next Thursday to be distributed after that.” He thanked the Syrian leadership for its support, support and facilitation and understanding and contribution to the success of this process.
Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that there were those who considered the promise to bring oil derivatives to Lebanon that it was for popular and media consumption only and that it was not achievable, as its owners bet on “Israel”, but the promise was fulfilled and all bets fell.
Sayyed Nasrallah welcomed the recent visit of the official Lebanese delegation to Syria, which dealt with "openness and love despite the accuracy of the issue."
Sayyed Nasrallah added, "I tell the Americans, as all your bets have failed, all your policies have failed, and all your plots have been broken, you will fail and you will be disappointed.
With regard to the Freedom Tunnel operation in occupied Palestine, Nasrallah stressed that this operation carried out by Palestinian heroes and resistance fighters has great and very important implications that expressed creativity, courage, hard work, and Palestinian insistence on freedom and liberation despite all the difficult circumstances that the Palestinian people have been experiencing for decades.
Nasrallah stressed that the arrest of the four prisoners does not diminish the success of the operation, and that the responsibility to protect the remaining two rests with all Palestinians.
He pointed to the importance of forming the Lebanese government at this difficult stage in Lebanon's history, explaining that the Lebanese people are looking forward to the government's rescue and reform, because the country is in the midst of collapse, stressing his support for preparing for and holding parliamentary and municipal elections on time.
