Two days after the election of the Berlin Senate, the list of elected representatives is now available.
Initially, only the 78 direct candidates had known that they would hold a seat in the new Senate.
In contrast, it remained open for an unusually long time which 69 candidates would enter parliament via the state and district lists.
CDU postponed the constituent meeting
Some group meetings were therefore held today with women politicians who were not yet sure whether they would even belong to the group.
The CDU had postponed its constituent meeting to Thursday.
You can see the list here.
The Greens, the Left and the AfD had drawn up state lists for the election.
AfD, CDU and FDP, on the other hand, entered the race with district lists.
Apparently that's why the count took so long.
There were already some organizational mishaps in Berlin on the evening of the election: Long queues formed in front of the polling stations, some ballot papers were missing, and the marathon that was taking place blocked the logistics.
Some voters were only able to cast their votes after 6 p.m.
