So far, the Ebersberg vaccination center has been open seven days a week.

That is changing now.

Ebersberg - End of the seven-day operation: From Friday, October 1st, the vaccination center in Ebersberg at Sparkassenplatz will only offer vaccinations from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. without prior appointment.

According to the district office, it is closed on Sunday and Monday.

The background to this is the lower capacity utilization because the vaccination range for initial vaccinations is not being used sufficiently.

It will soon be completely over in Poing: The local branch of the vaccination center will finally close its doors on September 30th (we reported).

In addition to the slump in demand, the reason for this, according to the district office, is the expiry of funding from the Free State.

Kreisklinik again only reports unvaccinated patients

In the Ebersberg district clinic, six patients with Covid 19 disease are currently being treated, the district authority reports. Three come from the district. Three of the patients have to be supplied and ventilated in the intensive care unit. According to the announcement, all Covid patients who are currently being treated in the clinic do not have a corona vaccination. There are currently six suspected cases in the clinic. The DIVI intensive care registry reported 16 of 18 intensive care beds in Ebersberg as occupied on Tuesday evening - a slight relaxation. With an increasing proportion of corona intensive care patients, the district clinic has the option of postponing operations that can be planned and thus controlling the workload.

With almost 40 percent, a focus of the corona infection in the Ebersberg district is currently in the 15 to 34-year-old age group, reports the district office.
