The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court today allowed the publication that 49-year-old Shapira, a resident of Ma'ale Adumim, is suspected of strangling his 50-year-old wife Rachel to death, as he is in divorce proceedings, at their home last month. He was taken to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva in critical condition.
