In the video: The suspect in the murder of his wife in Ma'ale Adumim mourned over the grave (Walla system!)

The director of the Ma'ale Adumim cemetery, Rabbi Shimon Gerson, told today (Thursday) how the body of Rachel Eisenstadt, whose husband Guy Shapira is suspected of murdering her and attempting suicide, was almost brought for burial at Shapira's request before being sent for autopsy at the Abu Kabir Legal Institute. He said one of the family members insisted and strongly demanded that the body be sent for examination.

"Usually, in such cases, the procedure is to have a police check and MDA and then find consent to issue a burial license from the Ministry of Health," Gerson said. Do not see the need for it, but one of the girls 'friends, shouted and said to Rachel's daughter,' You are not going to bury her, you are sending her to Abu Kabir, think only if suspicion arises and they have to take her out of the grave, I do not move from here, the woman goes to Abu Kabir '. "It is a great miracle that they sent the body to Abu Kabir and were in no hurry to issue a burial permit, because if that happened, the body would reach the cemetery and they would immediately bury it and no one suspects anything."

Gerson also described Guy's conduct during the funeral.

"Two days later, the body of the deceased was released and brought to purification at the Shamgar Funeral Home. I put the family in identification, the children came in and just fell apart, I could not stand this situation and I also had tears in my eyes. Meanwhile, husband Guy is standing next to Rachel's head, he is not Responding and nothing, such a 'Poker Face' face. I tell them to identify the term, as required by law, I reveal her face and he stands and looks coolly and signs the document. Going to the funeral, he said Kaddish, asked to say a few words and then it ended The funeral, the family disperse and the end we all know. "

In a video released from the funeral, Shapira appears to be mourning Rachel: "It is a nightmare and a punishment that the universe has prepared for me."

"I buried hundreds and I did not have a situation where I bury a man and his wife standing and silent, or a woman and the husband standing and silent. We know that she was actually murdered and the killer is standing next to us, "he added.

Gerson described the chain of events following Shapira's suicide attempt. "At first the girls asked to buy the plot over Rachel for Guy, and then a day later I get a message from relatives that Guy probably could not bear her loss and he himself is respirated and anesthetized in a critical condition after shooting himself. Then I got a call saying 'no way, "You don't want any of his closeness to her." Then I realized that something had happened. "

Rachel Eisenstadt's children said that "the truth has finally come out. From the first moment it was clear to us that this was a murder and not a suicide. Our dear mother loved life and us very much. She would not give up now.

This is a very brutal murder that was planned to the last detail.

This is a manipulative man who tried to escape the law and inherit his mother's fortune.

If no one had revealed his actions, he would have put his hands on her assets and we would have lived with the thought that his mother had committed suicide. "

They attacked the suspect in the Shapira murder and said that Not perceived in the human brain.

The killer is a seemingly normative man, within whom lies evil and cruelty.

We were very close to our mother and there were no signs that she was in danger.

We hope to succeed and survive this nightmare and commemorate the name of our dear mother Rachel Eisenstadt.

We will not keep quiet until the abominable killer sits behind bars and never sees the light of day. "

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court today allowed the publication that 49-year-old Shapira, a resident of Ma'ale Adumim, is suspected of strangling his 50-year-old wife Rachel to death, as he is in divorce proceedings, at their home last month. Shortly after the murder, Shapira fled the scene, shot himself in front of police officers and was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Shapira's detention was extended by seven days. The couple had a 16-year-old son, and the murdered woman had six other daughters from a previous marriage.

The incident took place on September 19, when the police received a report of suspicion of a suicide incident of a woman in her home.

After the autopsy, findings were obtained indicating that it was probably not a suicide incident, and immediately afterwards an investigation team was set up that began carrying out covert investigative actions, including gathering findings and evidence.

The suspect, who was supervised, fled in his vehicle to the south of the country on Route 6, ignored the cries of the police officers who ordered him to stand aside, continued on a wild ride and later boarded a barbed-wire checkpoint set up by the police.

After his vehicle stopped, Shapira got out of his vehicle with a weapon, which he carried on a license, and shot himself.

He was taken to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva in critical condition.
