An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale occurred today in Khuzestan Province, southwest of Iran.
Fars news agency quoted the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University as saying in a statement that the epicenter of the quake was located 31 km from the Qala'a Khawaja area in the province, noting that there were no reports of injuries or losses as a result of the quake.
