An 18-year-old young man fell into a coma and was sent to hospital in a bicycle accident in Tai Po.
At 5:12 pm today (31st), the police received a report that an 18-year-old young man surnamed Mak was riding a bicycle along the cycling track in Tai Po Industrial Estate. He was suspected of losing control and provoking himself while on the way to Tai King Street. He injured his head and fell into a coma.
Responding to the report, the paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to Shatin Wells Hospital for treatment. He is now in critical condition.
Sources at the scene said that the 18-year-old victim, surnamed Mai, was driving a bicycle worth 8,000 yuan, and a group of 4 friends went cycling from Fo Tan to Bride's Pool.
