Recognizing that the villagers are incapable of self-development
The land owned by the two Man's ancestral halls is close to the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Park under construction in the Loop. According to the "New Territories Land Preferential Compensation Zoning Plan" compiled by the Lands Department in recent years, Wen's land is zoned as D District. Based on the current ex-gratia compensation for land resumption of farmland at RMB 333 per square foot, two ancestral halls can receive RMB 1.8 billion. .
However, Wen Fuwen believes that the compensation price is too low. For example, the government repossessed land in Kwu Tung that year and "upgraded" the scope of land resumption, and calculated compensation based on the preferential compensation rate in District A.
He pointed out that whether the villagers will finally agree to the land resumption depends on the land price: "I believe most people will not object to the compensation based on the market price."
If calculated according to "Zone A", the land acquisition price per square foot is 1,332 yuan, and the land acquisition price is as high as 8.3 billion yuan.
