The Community Foundation for Future Pioneers and Pioneers in Egypt held a symposium entitled “The October War of Victory and Repercussions.. Egypt and Syria for Cooperation and a Common Destiny.”
The symposium, which was chaired by Dr. Gamal Zahran, the General Coordinator of the Arab and Islamic Grouping in Support of the Resistance, during which he reiterated the emphasis on standing by Syria in the face of what it is facing, especially the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States and Western countries on the Syrian people, stressing the need to strengthen Egyptian-Syrian relations in various fields.
Regarding the October liberation war, Zahran said: “There is an Arab dimension in the October liberation war, and had it not been for the Arab will, we would not have crossed the war that witnessed major military achievements,” noting that the Zionist entity is “a fragile entity that can be eliminated.”
In turn, the head of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Egypt, Dr. Bassam Darwish, stressed the importance of keeping the spark of victory in the October Liberation War alive and burning in the minds of the younger generation, noting the cooperation and coordination between the Egyptian and Syrian armies in achieving victory over the Israeli enemy and breaking its thorn.
For her part, the media, Sahar Abbas, Secretary-General of the Community Foundation for Future Pioneers and Pioneers, said that "the memory of the October Liberation War is all a pride for all of us, and we commemorate every national memory dear to us."
