Last year, in an unprecedented move, the traditional Shluchim Conference at Building 770 in Brooklyn was canceled and the shlichim remained in their homes around the world, due to the Corona plague.

This year, too, some of the emissaries were absent due to closures in their countries.

Thousands of excited followers began arriving last week at Crown Heights from around the world, for a sort of their annual cycle meeting.

The many apostles took advantage of the annual meeting to conclude on joint activities, refreshments and prayers at the Rebbe of Lubavitch.

At the opening of the huge conference, Chabad announced that this year 250 families had joined the mission, 71 of them in Israel and the rest in other countries around the world.

Due to Corona's limitations, it was decided to hold the conference in a slightly different way than usual, with the main workshop day split into many halls in the neighborhood, and as mentioned, there will be no group photo shoot.

The conference lasted until Sunday night (New York time), when the annual salute ceremony was held in a huge hall.

One of the thousands of followers who came to the place is the photographer Haim Twito, one of the few who came last year to the 770 building, which has now closed the circle at the huge gathering.

“Almost two years of Corona are already behind us, and despite the changes it is dragging and the feeling that it is still here, including charging a Corona test as a condition of entry and without the group photo or crowded workshops, this is a very exciting event.

To see in the huge hall 4,500 Chabad emissaries from all over the world returning the light lying here in the last two years and to photograph this powerful event again, is an unforgettable experience. "
