Jean-Michel Blanquer was in Nice, this Friday, to take stock of the device of the "royal square", announced last May at the end of the "Grenelle education".
Launched the day after the national tribute to Samuel Paty, assassinated by an Islamist terrorist on leaving college, the "Grenelle" set itself the objective of improving the working conditions of personnel.
Feeling helpless in the face of violence encountered in schools, the teachers demanded more protection, more support and more clarity on the procedures to be followed.

From now on, in each academy, the “royal square” must make available to rectors, teams trained and able to intervene with establishments on four subjects: values of the Republic and secularism, radicalization and the fight against communalism, school violence, harassment and cyber harassment.
These teams are in contact with the police and the judiciary, and rely on pHARE, the program to fight against
