Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Air Force and Space in the Revolutionary Guards, boasted of Iranian capabilities and clarified that "today national security is exemplary and we should not talk about our capabilities because the enemies say enough"

Iranian generals continue to launch threats with allusions to Israel's impending storm, this time through Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Air Force and Space in the Revolutionary Guards, who said this morning (Thursday) that the Islamic Republic will destroy the Jewish state "if it provides the excuse."

Iran has carried out a huge exercise in the Red Sea

"The people in Tel Aviv know that they can be the initiators of a war, but we are the ones who will end it," Khajizadeh said this morning, explaining that "when it is over, it is their destruction. If they just give us the excuse, they will see no more." After that, "he added.

The remarks were made against the backdrop of the tenth anniversary of the death of Hassan Tehrani, an early lieutenant colonel in the Revolutionary Guards and an important figure in the Iranian missile program, who was killed in 2012 in an explosion at a military base in the country.

"Today the security of the country is exemplary and we should not talk about our capabilities because the enemies say enough," Khajizadeh proudly stressed.

The threats from Tehran come after in recent days the Islamic Republic has held a major naval exercise in the Indian Ocean and the northern Red Sea.

The exercise, which combines maneuvers by the Iranian navy, air force and Revolutionary Guards, simulates various scenarios of naval combat away from the Iranian coastline.

The exercise, dubbed "Zolfikar 1,400", will reach its main stage tomorrow, in a series of maneuvers that include missile fire, use of special forces and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The main liaison officer between the Iranian navy and the army command, Deputy Admiral Hibibula Sayari, said the emphasis in the maneuver was on the use of weapons developed in Iran without relying on foreign military technology.
