Authorities in Saudi Arabia have recently led a particularly large operation against camel abuse as part of a traditional animal beauty contest.
More than 40 camels were disqualified after being abused, which included Botox injections, hormone injections, nose and face lifts and cosmetic changes.
The crooks tried to increase their chances of winning the competition in the name of the kingdom's founder 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Saud.
The competition is part of a festival that began this month and invites camel breeders across the kingdom to compete for prizes of $ 66 million.
This is a festival that takes place in the desert located northeast of the capital Riyadh.

According to the Saudi news agency, the organizers have announced that heavy penalties will be imposed on the offenders who try to "beautify" the camels.
Apart from the beauty contest, the festival hosts camel races and auctions.
The events aim to preserve the role of the camel in the Bedouin tradition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Similar festivals are held in different countries in the Middle East and the camel selling industry itself rolls in millions of dollars every year.
