12 people were injured in an explosion that took place this evening inside an ammunition depot for one of the Palestinian factions in the Burj Al-Shamali camp in the Tire region in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that a munition exploded in one of the Palestinian centers in the Al-Burj Al-Shamali camp for Palestinian refugees, east of the city of Tyre, while the Lebanese army cordoned off the area.
Lebanese media reported that 12 people were injured in the explosion, some of them seriously, noting that a fire led to the explosion.
No further details were provided about the cause of the fire.
