Exceptional case in New Zealand
: A citizen of the country is suspected of having been vaccinated ten times in a single day in exchange for payment from citizens who did not want to be vaccinated but were interested in his green daughter.
The local newspaper The New Zealand Herald reported that the man, whose name was not given, received payment from several people who wanted a vaccination certificate but were not interested in getting vaccinated.
The man is suspected of visiting dozens of immunization points and impersonating people who paid him.
His medical treatment will result in the receipt of dozens of corona vaccines are still unknown, but his license will be enacted in New Zealand saying the man, who has since been arrested, is in good health.
Astrid Cornif, director of the New Zealand Ministry of Health's task force for immunization, told the local newspaper: "We take the matter very seriously and we are aware of the details of the case, working with law enforcement."
The principal further added that the immunization certificates of those who paid the impostor would be denied.
"Getting a fake immunization certificate not only endangers you but also those around you, your family and your community at risk. The medical staffs act out of public trust and rely on people to tell them the truth, so that the best treatment can be given," Kornif said.
New Zealand was relatively sparsely affected by the corona plague and only 46 people, out of a population of over four million, died as a result of corona disease.
In recent months New Zealand has experienced a major outbreak of the delta variant of the virus and the government’s closure policy has struggled to stop the virus from raging.
More than eighty percent of the target population in New Zealand have already received the vaccine.
