China has expressed its strong rejection of the bullying and bullying method practiced by the United States towards other countries, and demanded that it immediately stop its wrong practices, especially sanctions.
Washington recently imposed a series of US economic and trade sanctions against China, including the inclusion of a number of Chinese institutions and companies on the "Entity List" and the passage of a bill banning imports from the Xinjiang region.
Commenting on the sanctions, Xinhua news agency quoted a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce as telling reporters: "Washington, by using the pretext of (human rights) and making baseless justifications, continues to abuse export control and investment restrictions and prevents imports related to Xinjiang, to further continue the suppression of Chinese entities. and impose restrictions on the normal economic and trade cooperation between the institutions of the two countries.”
Such political manipulation by the United States undermines market principles, violates WTO rules and economic regulations, and harms the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies as well as the interests of American companies and investors, the spokesman added, adding that such actions are not conducive to the stability of global industry and supply chains and global economic recovery.
The Chinese official called on the United States to stop interfering with the normal economic and trade cooperation between Chinese and US companies and to stop violating the rights to subsistence and development of people of all ethnic minorities in Xinjiang and return to the right track of cooperation based on mutual profit.
The spokesperson warned that China will take necessary measures to safeguard its national sovereignty and security and the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
