The Legislative Council election was over, and the DAB Legislative Council Member Zheng Yongshun was successfully elected. West Kowloon New Power Liang Wenguang also won.
The 68-year-old non-establishment veteran Frederick Fung ran for the election again. In the end, he received only more than 10,000 votes and failed to return to the Legislative Council.

The Returning Officer announced that Liang Wenguang received 36,840 votes; Feng Jianji received 15,961 votes; Zheng Yongshun received 64,353 votes.
Liang Wenguang and Zheng Yongshun were elected.
Cheng Yongshun was a member of the Sham Shui Po District Council for many years. He participated in the by-election of the Kowloon West Legislative Council in 2018 and was elected as a member of the Legislative Council for the first time.
Frederick Fung, who has retired from the ADPL, is a veteran of the democratic camp. He became a member of the Legislative Council as early as 1991. He has served as a member of the Provisional Legislative Council and a member of the Legislative Council. He was defeated in the 2016 Legislative Council election and has since ran for many elections to the Legislative Council. And the district councils were defeated.
Liang Wenguang is regarded as the "apprentice" of Liang Meifen by the Pakatan Rakyat. He was elected as the Sham Shui Po District Councillor in 2011. After that, he was listed on Liang Meifen's list twice in the Legislative Council elections.
Liang Wenguang did not use the Pakatan Harapan as the card for this election, but instead used the "West Kowloon New Power".
