10,000 euros found on a walk

A 34-year-old from Munich lost his wallet in Germering.

Germering – On Saturday afternoon, January 29, shortly after 4 p.m., a 34-year-old Germeringer found a bag of money while walking in Eisenbahnstrasse. 

"It contained 10,000 euros in cash and an EC card," explains Tobias Hollaus, police commissioner at the Germering police station.

The Germeringer brought the wallet, which contained an EC card in addition to the money, to the Germering police.

Here the rightful owner of the money, a 34-year-old from Munich, could be reached.

He was visibly relieved that the large amount of money, which was probably lost on the way to the bank, was found and handed over to the police.
