The Ministry of Interior has called on citizens whose support has stopped due to the presence of data indicating that they have left for more than a year and that they are currently inside the country, to review the Department of Immigration and Passports and its branches in the governorates.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, the ministry indicated that citizens should bring with them their personal cards and passports for those who hold passports to establish their presence inside the country.
In turn, the Immigration and Passports Department confirmed that it and its branches in all governorates are ready to receive citizens from eight in the morning until eight in the evening daily.
These measures come in implementation of what was approved by the Cabinet on the mechanism for implementing the project to restructure the support, directing it to its actual beneficiaries, and scrutinizing the criteria that were adopted as a basis for targeting this system.
