Sixteen people were killed in clashes today between gangs in the state of Zacatecas, central Mexico.
And the Reuters news agency quoted Francesco Moreau, the state's attorney general, as saying that the authorities found ten bodies wrapped in blankets in the streets of Verizino municipality, and six others hanging inside a warehouse in the neighboring area of Panfilo Natera.
Moreau announced the arrest of two people who were transporting another body the day before, indicating that the body may be of a person connected to the rest of the dead.
