Today, a person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on the Homs-Damascus international highway.
The Director of Civil Defense in Homs, Brigadier General Ghiath Aqel, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the branch operations room received a distress call about a traffic accident on the Homs-Damascus road, and immediately the rescue personnel moved to the place and were able to get the driver out of the car and take him to the hospital for treatment.
Brigadier Aqel stated that the cause of the accident was the car skidding and deteriorating due to rain and excessive speed.
