Following recent revelations regarding the conduct of the police in Netanyahu's investigations:
MK Yom Tov Kalfon of the Yemina party told Israel Today tonight (Saturday) that "the new revelations require the law enforcement system and the judiciary to conduct a serious home inspection."
According to Kalfon, a member of Prime Minister Bennett's party, "the revelations significantly undermine public confidence in the country's rule of law system, a trust that has been declining in recent years."
Kalfon added that "we, the legislators, also have a responsibility to lead reforms to rectify the situation."

As you may recall, in the television editions of the news, recordings were published according to which there is a suspicion that the police planted spyware on the phone of State Witness Shlomo Pilber, during his interrogations.
"Israel Today" has learned that the publication of the recordings may lead to the submission of a request to postpone hearings or delay the trial.
Meanwhile, the prosecution replied to Benjamin Netanyahu's defense attorneys that the allegation of illegal wiretapping is "under close scrutiny" and that "they are aware of the schedules."
Meanwhile, jurists are addressing the phenomenon and warning of its consequences.
