"No, it's not a joke," writes the police in their press release on a curious incident in Hagen.
A wild boar got lost in an apartment there.
Hagen - In Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, there was an almost unbelievable incident on Friday (February 4).
Even the police expressly assured in their press release that it was "not a joke".
A wild boar initially turned the entire living room of a woman upside down and then made himself comfortable on the couch.

When the 39-year-old unlocked her front door at around 1:20 p.m., she faced an adult wild boar.
"Fortunately with her head turned away from her," wrote the police.
The frightened woman quickly closed the door again and called the emergency services for help.
When a patrol car crew arrived on site, the "stately Bache" weighing around 60 kilograms had already devastated the interior and then settled comfortably on the living room sofa.
The animal probably got into the apartment on the ground floor through an open terrace door, the officials suspect.
When it fell shut, the pig was finally trapped.

The wild boar found its way back to nature unharmed over a fence.
“Wild boar usually freshen in the spring.
During this time, they protect their young from enemies.
