One person was killed and another was injured and sent to the hospital in a shooting at the Fred Meyer store in Richland, Washington on Monday.
According to Richland Police Commander Chris Lee, his agency received a call from the store at 11:04 a.m. local time that a white male was inside yelling and shooting.
Lee said units are clearing the scene and a search for the suspect is underway.
Police are not sure if the man left on foot or in a vehicle.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) confirmed to CNN that they received a call for assistance in an active shooter situation at a Fred Meyer grocery store in Richland, Washington.
ATF Seattle Field Office spokesman Jason Chudy also confirmed to CNN that special agents from his Yakima, Washington, field office were en route to support the Richland Police Department with the active shooter investigation.
Several nearby schools were closed, police said.
