The harsh and disrespectful style of Vox in the Parliament of Catalonia has crossed a new threshold this Wednesday.

The president of the Chamber, Laura Borràs, has suspended the session for a moment after being informed that a deputy from the party bench led by Santiago Abascal had called President Pere Aragonès a "son of a bitch" after an intervention.

Borràs has warned of what happened and has given the opportunity to withdraw the insult.

Antonio Gallego has taken responsibility, but has complained that the Republican called them "Nazis" and that was not considered an insult.

The microphones were off, but the ears of the deputies who were in the hemicycle were not.

The leader of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, had criticized Aragonès for appointing people close to the pro-independence parties to positions of parliamentary appointment such as members of the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia or the Catalan Data Protection Agency.

Those names were agreed with the PSC.

"Until when are you going to continue sharing out the cargo while the Catalans are absolutely abandoned?" Garriga snapped.

The president has replied that, with these questions, Vox was making the typical speech of the extreme right of attacking democratic institutions, getting involved in defending the rights of the people.

“That is what Italian fascism did.

That is what National Socialism did in Spain”, he added.

That response has stirred up the bench of the 10 Vox deputies.

In the middle of the murmur, Borràs has interrupted the session to say that he had been warned by several deputies that he had insulted the president of the Generalitat.

And he has invited the culprit to take back the words from him.

"I apologize for the insult but it is not normal for the president of Catalonia to accuse us of being Nazis in each control session."

Gallego said.

Borràs has taken the floor from him, considering that he was justifying the insult.
