The Communist Party of South Africa condemned the Israeli aggression on areas around Damascus, stressing that the occupation threatens peace and stability in the region.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of, the party expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli attacks and attacks, pointing out that the continuation of the aggression against the Syrian people is causing great distress and impeding reconstruction in Syria and efforts aimed at building its economy.
The party pointed out that the Israeli entity occupies the Syrian and Palestinian territories, constantly violates human rights, peace and stability, and impedes development efforts through land confiscation, bombing, killing and other atrocities.
A soldier was martyred and five others were wounded as a result of an Israeli missile attack at dawn today on the outskirts of the city of Damascus, which also caused damage to civilian homes and properties in Qudsaya, northwest of Damascus.
