Against the background of security tensions between Russia and Ukraine, in the past month, close to 100 requests from young Jews from Ukraine were received to come to Israel in the coming month for long-term plans in the country.
These are internship programs of Masa, on behalf of the Jewish Agency and the Government of Israel.
The applications reflect a 30% increase in enrollment compared to the same period last year, and were received by young people aged 35-20, who aspire to build long-term careers in Israel.
Alexei, 30, from Kiev, arrived in Israel two weeks ago for the first time in his life, for a career journey program.
