Israel will not cooperate with the UN Commission of Inquiry into examining the Wall Guard operation in May 2021. It will not allow its members to enter Israel. And making connections.
In a scathing reply letter to Philly, the Israeli ambassador to the UN institutions in Geneva, Merav Alon Shachar, writes that Philly herself, as well as the other members of the inspection team, "have repeatedly taken public and hostile positions against Israel on the very issue they are required to investigate independently and without Bias'".
"You are known for personally advocating an anti-Israel agenda and many anti-Israel statements, including libel, of comparing Israel to apartheid South Africa," the ambassador wrote.
"Also, you support the radical BDS campaign, against Israel. There is simply no reason to believe that Israel will receive reasonable, egalitarian and non-discriminatory treatment from the council or commission of inquiry that you are taxing to lead."

Alon Shachar notes that another member of the committee used terms such as "ethnic cleansing" and "massacre" in relation to Israeli actions.
The ambassador's letter also revealed that the rich anti - Israel history of the committee members is hidden on its website.
"The committee members were chosen precisely because they were tainted with bias, and based on their history of activism and hostile accusations against Israel, to ensure a pre-determined political outcome," the Israeli representative accuses.
Earlier this week, an Un-Watch complaint was filed against Play, due to its anti-Israel bias.
