Some claim that Baidan has won victory over Putin • In fact, the sanctions threats, which would have harmed US citizens, were nonsense • and Russian forces on the Ukrainian border put an end to the NATO alliance as a military factor

Some commentators in the U.S. and abroad say that for President Joe Biden, the crisis in Ukraine has strengthened him politically at home.

The same commentators say that through blunt, confident and consistent statements, and without endangering a single American soldier, Biden succeeded in bringing down Russian President Vladimir Putin with his intention to invade Ukraine - a move that could have degenerated the world into a major war, perhaps a world war.

According to commentators, this is how Biden restored the United States' position in the international arena after the crash in Afghanistan last summer.

At first glance, this approach makes sense.

After all, as of Wednesday afternoon, "Ashraf Marwan" was wrong, and the Russians are not attacking deep in Ukraine.

But there are some issues with this line.

First, the American public does not care about Ukraine, so Biden's conduct does not really interest Americans.

Another problem is that the talk of the president and his people about "World War III" was nonsense.

Even if the Russians invade and occupy Ukraine tomorrow, a world war will not break out.

The US has no military commitment to the Ukrainians, no national interest in protecting them and no military capability to defend Ukraine.

Biden also said he would not send forces to the battlefield, so instead of strengthening the status of the US - his idle talk of a world war only revealed the weaknesses of the US and the empty rhetoric of the promises to Kiev.

The crumbling alliance

But the bluff was not just about some world war or the Trojan War.

Biden's scam is also about the sanctions.

The president said in a speech on Tuesday that if Russia invaded Ukraine, the United States would impose severe sanctions on Moscow's "key industries." But just as he threatened world war on the one hand and said there would be no world war on the other, .

The next sentence after the threats was that the effect of the sanctions - apparently on energy exports from Russia to the West - would also be felt in the pockets of the Americans.

When the level of inflation in the US reaches a peak of 39 years, and a large majority of the public blames Biden and his economic policies, there is no chance that Biden has implemented sanctions that will cause a further rise in US fuel prices, and there should be no political strategists to understand this.

The claim that Biden benefited from the crisis also ignores the strategic gains that Russia is reaping from the conflict, and the strategic prices the US is paying for it. Without moving a single soldier across the border, Putin achieved everything he demanded - and more. Putin demanded, but having said that the organization would not protect it when it was in danger of Russian occupation - it was clear to all that the Ukrainians would never join the Atlantic Alliance.

In most respects, Ukraine has in this crisis become a sponsor of Moscow and not of Washington.

NATO itself has been exposed as a shaky structure of countries without power and determination. Biden claimed on Tuesday that the crisis has proved stronger than ever, but through his threats to Kiev, Putin has revealed to all that it is no longer an alliance, at least in Russia. Germany and France see Moscow as a partner. In the crisis around Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Schultz adopted Putin's position against Ukraine and the United States when he called on Ukraine to behave like Finland in the Cold War - democratic inside but in terms of foreign and security policy subject to Moscow.

Putin has already suggested this alternative in an article he published last year.

The conspiracy that led to the crisis

In fact, Russian forces on the Ukrainian border have put an end to the NATO alliance as a military alliance with Russia in its current form. This is joined by the list of US losses so far.

After escaping from Afghanistan in August, Biden was unable to recover from the credibility crisis he had created but only intensified it.

On the one hand he threatened the war, on the other hand the message was that he would not protect Ukraine.

Some would say the president has become a joke.

When Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zalansky was forced twice in the past week to tell Biden to lower his tone, and that his warnings of immediate-term invasion did not reflect the reality on the ground - it is clear that American support is not exactly the commodity of the month.

Biden's confused and outspoken conduct towards Putin must be seen in the broader context of his foreign policy - for example the weakness towards Iran and China.

At such a glance, it is hard to argue that Biden came out strengthened from the unfortunate incident with Russia.

So how can Biden's failing and failing conduct be explained

?

Probably at the end of it all politics.

For the past three years, Special Prosecutor John Durham has been investigating the conspiracy to overthrow Donald Trump on false charges that the former president acted as a Russian agent in cooperation with Russia in the 2016 presidential election.

A week ago, Durham revealed that it was not just a matter of tying Hillary Clinton's election headquarters against Trump.

The Obama administration, in its arms of intelligence, was complicit in the conspiracy.

Durham revealed that both the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House listened to Trump's conversations and room for emails at the Trump Tower in New York, and presumably in his White House offices after taking office.

The false accusation of the democratic and security establishment, as if Trump worked as Putin's collaborator, prevented him as president from cooperating with Putin when he had to do so with Iran and China, as he intended. Putin has tightened Russia's relations with China and Iran.

Since the US is incapable of acting militarily or economically against Putin around Ukraine, the right move for Washington in the current crisis was to close a deal in which the Russian president accepts what he wants in Ukraine and cooperates with the US on another level.

This is how NATO was saved along with the honor of the United States.

But after five years in which Democrats portrayed Putin as the number one enemy of humanity, Biden had no choice but to continue to alienate Moscow.

This led to the disintegration of NATO and further damage to the international status of the United States.

Were we wrong?
