The Russian Foreign Ministry had announced earlier that Moscow would respond strongly to the US sanctions imposed on it, and that this response would be thoughtful and sensitive for the US side, noting that the tools available to US foreign policies currently include only blackmail, intimidation and threats, and that Washington has become a victim of stereotyped ideas of a unipolar world.
