This is the third day since the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, and many civilians are flocking to take refuge outside the country’s borders in hopes of rescuing themselves and their families from the inferno.

Walla!

Continuing to follow one of those citizens, Marina Britbin, an Israeli who fled the city of Kharkiv with her children, crossed the border into Moldova - where she found refuge tonight.

After waiting for hours in long lines at the border, Britbin said she made the crossing and was received in the neighboring country with respect and a friendly face.

However, she said that her partner and the other men who tried to cross the border - were stopped.

This is because Ukraine does not allow men between the ages of 60-18 to leave the country.

"I crossed the border with the children and some friends, but the men can not cross the border, they are not taken out of Ukraine," Britvin told Walla!

As she documents from her location near the border there she waits for more friends to cross.

She said, "They received us very nicely, let us stay in hostels and help us nice people. They give a warm treatment."

"I keep my fingers crossed for everyone who stays in the cities," she said.

She spoke about the conditions compared to the times of fighting in Israel and said: "They sit there under the bombs all day, without leaving the warehouses, there are no shelters like in Israel, it is to sit on the ground without normal conditions."

She realized that there was a shortage of food: "I realized that there is starting to be difficulty with food as well, and that the bread is gone. The situation there is difficult, especially today and I hope it will end soon, and peace will begin."
