The impact of a Russian missile against an apartment building in western Kiev is the most visible trace of how the battle is intensifying in the capital.
At least 35 people have been injured early Saturday morning, including two children, according to a balance of the entire city made by its mayor, Vitali Klistchko.
"One more brutality of the Russian occupiers that, in no way, can be hidden from the world and the Russians," wrote Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Ministry of the Interior.
The building is located several kilometers from the center, on Lobanovski Street, in honor of the legendary Ukrainian football coach and Soviet national team manager.
The Ukrainian government assures that it has been attacked by a Russian missile.
A video released by the National Emergency Service shows the detonation of what looks like a rocket and the images from the home security cameras of one of the apartments show the moment of the reach, in which for now there have been no victims.
The Ukrainian Minister of Health explained this Saturday that 198 people have died in the last three days of the offensive, including three children, and that more than 1,100 people have been injured.
Klistchko has denied this Saturday through a statement from his municipal cabinet the presence of regular Russian troops in the city, after a night of intense fighting and attempts by the Russian Army to control the Ukrainian capital.
The city refuses to submit to the Russian invader.
The enemy troops are trying to tighten the siege around Kiev, but they have not yet succeeded in isolating it from the rest of the country.
