He just plays "Imagine" by John Lennon.

This pianist from Germany took his grand piano to the Polish border and has been playing there for a few days for the arriving refugees from the Ukraine – mostly women and children who had to leave their husbands behind during the war.

According to the UN, 1.3 million refugees have already left the country.

It could be 1.5 million by the end of the weekend.

Refugee, Olha, 33 years old:

»I didn't want to go to another country, leave my country.

Because we have a happy family, a happy life.

And now our family is separated..."

Refugee, Anastasia, 18 years old:

»We really want NATO to set up a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Because Russia kills our children and our parents.«

In view of the sometimes heavy destruction in residential areas, many demonstrators all over the world - for example in the Czech Republic - are again demanding such a no-fly zone this weekend.

In Japan.

In Bolivia.

And even in Ukraine itself. In the city of Cherson, which two days ago was the first city to be captured by Russian troops, hundreds of people took to the streets against the occupying forces on Saturday.

In Germany, too, tens of thousands of people took part in anti-war rallies on Saturday.

In Munich, more than 2,000 people formed a human chain - from the Russian to the Ukrainian consulate.

O-Tones demonstrators:

“It's important that we remember that it can happen to any of us, at any time.

And that we always stand behind it and do what we can, whether it's here or donating or taking in refugees in a week.«

“I think Putin has been courted for far too long.

For 20 years, the West has been trying to calm him down so he doesn't get upset.

And that just has to end now.«

“For decades we have supported the behavior of a despot.

We make ourselves so dependent in the West.

And I don't understand economics or not, but the price for that was definitely too high.

And we just saw that too late.«

“I think it sucks what the Russians are doing and what Putin is doing.

He's a killer."

Many have been of this opinion since the beginning of the war at the latest.

At the Russian consulate in Munich, strangers left an unmistakable message in paint.
