Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asks the United States to help him defend his airspace.
In a video conference attended by more than 300 US senators and representatives on Saturday, he called for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine, or that he be provided with planes to do so.

During that call, Zelensky told US lawmakers that this might be the last they would see him alive, as he had told European leaders before.
His plea moved many elected officials, Democrats and Republicans.
But while the vast majority of them are in favor of increased military aid deliveries to Ukraine, the United States continues to refuse any commitment of American forces that could draw them into the conflict.
