Then the band honored the artist, Tahseen Bey, by presenting a group of songs he composed and sang, such as Ya Khali Ya Khali Lolo Lali.

Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, considered in a statement to SANA that this pioneering activity is an embodiment of the organization’s honoring of great artists such as Hussam Tahsin Bey, pointing out that the organization is continuing the preparation for the Al-Qudoud Al-Halabi Festival, which will honor the great artists and composers, explaining the importance of partnership between the Ministry, the Vanguard Organizations, the Youth and the local community in showing the Syrian culture. ancient.

Dr. Ezzat Arabi Katbi, head of the Vanguard Organization, explained the importance of the event to perpetuate the original heritage and transmit this message across generations and preserve it. Honoring the artist Tahsin Bey in front of children embodies this after being preceded by honoring many statures such as artists Duraid Lahham and Sabah Fakhri.

In turn, a member of the leadership of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization, head of the Theater and Music Office, Wadah Sawas, pointed out that the organization, through these activities, focuses on reviving the intangible heritage in folk songs and muwashshahs with the aim of reviving this heritage in memory at a time when social networks are trying to keep children away from their tangible and intangible heritage.

As for the artist, Tahsin Bey, he expressed his happiness with this honor, which came from the Vanguard Organization, which cares for children and develops in them a love of arts and heritage, pointing out that art is the title of any country and folklore expresses every country and tells its story.

At the ceremony, a documentary film entitled A Syrian artist with a Syrian flavour was shown, showing stations from Tahsin Bey's life, in which he combined composition, acting and choreography through television, theatrical and cinematic works, in addition to his composition and writing.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the head of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Somar Al-Daher, the director of Damascus Countryside Education, Maher Farag, members of the Executive Office of the Artists Syndicate, and educational, party and civil activities.
