Today (Wednesday), Minister of Diaspora Nachman Shai sharply criticized the outline of refugees of Interior Minister Shaked.
He claimed that the solution was "shameful" and called for everyone who comes to Israel from Ukraine to enter the country.
Below: Minister Shaked attacked Minister Shai: "Disrupts Israel's immigration policy."
"I cry when I remember what I saw - my people went exactly this way," said Minister Shai in a conversation with Anat Davidov and Golan will be hastened on 103fm. "This is a shameful solution. "10,000? 20,000? I intend to raise it in the government."
"The solution is to legalize the 20,000 Ukrainians who are already in Israel, who are illegal workers," he said.
Later on, the Minister of the Interior responded to Shai's harsh words: "Suggests that the Minister of the Diaspora focus on the national task at our disposal for the absorption of tens of thousands of immigrants, and not on defaming Israel and undermining its immigration policy."
Shaked added: "Israel will absorb citizens from Ukraine and Russia on a very large scale also in relation to the world, expecting the ministers to be proud of their country and not to tweet irresponsibly."

As you may recall, Minister Shaked decided to receive 25,000 non-Jewish Ukrainians in Israel, but 20,000 of them are already in Israel before the Russian invasion of Ukraine begins.
The status of those Ukrainians has not been settled and they are staying in the country illegally.
In fact, Shaked's move justifies their stay in Israel.
"In total, Israel will temporarily host about 25,000 Ukrainian citizens until the rage passes," the interior minister announced last night.
Following what he said in an interview, Minister Shai sent a letter to Prime Minister Shalom Shlomo and asked to raise the issue of Israel's refugee absorption policy at the upcoming cabinet meeting on Sunday.
