With the beginning of the fighting and the large concentration of refugees in Lviv, he began to care for and help Jews and Israelis who wanted to flee Ukraine.
After the photos from Ben Gurion Airport, he told Israel Today: "The photos shock me and do not surprise me.
"We rescued them from here after we took care of them and then let them suffer at Ben Gurion Airport? It would be better for them to be sent to another country."

Amar posted a few weeks ago in a Facebook post in which he offered his help to those who want to flee outside the borders of Ukraine - and he did not believe it would get so many applications and employment on his part.
Today he runs an army of volunteers who every day manage to help about 200 Jews and Israelis cross the border into Poland.
"The consulate and the Foreign Ministry fled Ukraine, and I posted on Facebook and contacted thousands of people from all walks of life to help them. I did not imagine it would reach such dimensions, I went into a vacuum - because the country just threw them to the dogs."

Amar added: "The state helps with two or three buses a day. It frustrates me. The whole operation is based only on private individuals, I am in contact with the agency and Nativ, and everything else is a volunteer corps. I have become the connecting factor for Jews and Israelis in Ukraine. ".
Amar saw the difficult pictures from Ben Gurion Airport yesterday and could not believe his eyes, after here in Ukraine he treated them with silk gloves, took care of all their shortcomings, fed them, let them sleep - and precisely when they arrived in Israel the treatment was disgraceful. "To stick them like that at Ben Gurion Airport so that they will suffer? It's annoying to see these pictures, is this the reception that Israel is able to give to those thousands who have gone through hardships? It would have been better for them to go to other countries that will absorb them like human beings," he said.
Amar concluded: "All the money they wanted to spend on the field hospital, which is currently in the Leviv area, is unnecessary. Let's say I did not see any wounded from the fighting here, they will take this money and invest in all those I send to Israel and take care of them. And at the moment I do not understand why they even had to think about such a project. "
