Two people were killed and two others were injured in a shooting on a public bus in the US state of Florida.
And the American newspaper, The Hill, quoted the state police as saying: “A shooting occurred in a public transport bus, which led to the death of one person at the scene and the death of another person in hospital, and two others were injured.”
"After the shooting, the bus engulfed the parking lot of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, colliding with another vehicle and injuring 3 people who were treated at the scene," police added.
The authorities said: "The suspected perpetrator was in custody and details regarding his identity or motives were not immediately clear."
The United States witnesses frequent shooting incidents in light of the laws that legalize the bearing of arms as an individual right, and the prevalence of violence in American society.
