(CNN Spanish) -
FC Barcelona lived a memorable night at the Santiago Bernabéu, beating the leader Real Madrid four goals to zero and keeping their title options alive in LaLiga.
The goals for Xavi Hernández's team were the work of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a couple of occasions, Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres.
A first half that started evenly, with both teams stepping on the rival area.
However, Barcelona little by little took the measure of the actions and began to find spaces, especially on the left wing with Ousmane Dembélé, who in fact provided the assist for Aubameyang's first goal.

The blaugranes took advantage of a Real Madrid with little reaction and in a still ball they extended their lead at the Bernabéu thanks to a 'headbutt' by Araujo towards the end of the first half after a corner kick.
Xavi's men were far superior in the initial stage.
For the complement, the dynamics did not change and the Catalans maintained their forcefulness, to the point that in less than ten minutes they were already four-nil in Madrid thanks to Ferran Torres and the second from Aubameyang.

In this way, the difference between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona is 12 points, with the Blaugranas with a pending match.
Surely the madridistas have great chances of winning LaLiga, but today Xavi's team gave an important message for the future of Spanish football.
