The head of the National Center of the Russian Defense Administration, Mikhail Mizintsev, announced that the Russian forces will open tomorrow an exit corridor from the city of Mariupol for all members of the Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries who lay down their arms.

"Humanitarian convoys loaded with food, medicine and necessities have been planned, as from the east a Russian humanitarian convoy will be from the east, and from the west a convoy formed by the Ukrainian side," Mizintsev said in a statement today, calling on the units of the Ukrainian armed forces, regional defense battalions and foreign mercenaries to stop hostilities, lay down their weapons and enter the territories controlled by Russia. It will be delivered to Kyiv tomorrow through the humanitarian corridors agreed upon with the Ukrainian side.

Mezintsev explained that the commanders of the units of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Russian Armed Forces will be ready for such a scenario and will ensure the safe exit of militants, but only without weapons and ammunition to any region.

And Mezintsev indicated that up to 130 thousand civilians and 184 foreigners from six countries are currently being held hostage in the city, noting that Russia will open from 10 am Moscow time until 12 pm humanitarian corridors from Mariupol to the east and in agreement with the Ukrainian side to the west.
